BOARD OF DIRECTORS THE BOARD

 

Our responsibilities as a Board is to establish policies, set budgets, oversee operations,

and review organizational accomplishments and above all making sure that financial

statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

 

Our responsibilities include creating and reviewing the statement of mission and

purposes that articulates the goals, means, and primary constituents served. 

Also, determine which programs are consistent with the organization's mission and

monitor its effectiveness.

 

We support and evaluate the executives by ensuring effective planning. We actively

participate in an overall planning process and assist in implementing and monitoring the planned goals

We ensure that the executives are given all the moral and professional support they need as a team to further the goals of the organization by monitoring, and strengthening programs and services.

 

Our mandate is also to articulate prerequisites for candidates, orient new members, and periodically and comprehensively evaluate their own performance.

 

We are ultimately responsible for adherence to legal standards and ethical norms.  Ensure legal and ethical integrity

 

We enhance the organization's public standing. We clearly articulate the organization's mission, accomplishments, and goals to the public and garner support from the communities.

 

Our individual professional backgrounds are what has reflected in the programs and activities of the Hope and Service to Mankind Foundation.
